Condition: Very good condition. The canvas exterior is in very good condition with light wear and rubbing to the base corners. The vachetta leather trim has developed a deep honey patina and shows moderate wear to the side laces being rubbing, darkening, and small splits, and heavy wear along the top edge, showing rubbing, darkening, creasing and a number of cracks, mostly to the top side edges (see photos no. 7 and 8). The handles have softened from use and have moderate to heavy rubbing, particularly along the tops which have darkened from contact, and show light marks and surface scratches to the bases. The hardware is in great condition with heavy gold tone loss to the D-rings, and otherwise light wear. The interior is in great condition with pen marks and light marks, mostly throughout the base, and scattered pen marks and large areas of peeling to the waxy coating inside the pocket.
