Condition: Very good condition. The canvas exterior is in very good condition with moderate wear throughout, including warping along the top edge, structure loss resulting in creasing, an area of tiny white marks to the rear, and the odd small crack to the canvas at the top edge (see photo). The vachetta leather trim shows heavy wear throughout, being rubbing to the corners and edges, as well as several dark marks, surface scratches and water marks. The handles have softened from use and show heavy wear, including darkening, rubbing, surface scratches, as well as light wear to the glazing. The hardware is in very good condition with moderate surface scratches and loss of gold tone in some areas. The interior is in great condition with some light marks, mostly to the base.
