The Hermes Birkin is undoubtedly the rarest and most exclusive bag on the market today. Comprised of ultra-supple veau taurillon clemence leather with gold plated hardware, this 2007 Birkin has been painstakingly hand-made with the finest Hermes craftsmanship.

The crème de la crème of all handbags, the Birkin’s history is legendary. The chief executive of Hermes was seated next to style icon Jane Birkin on a plane in the 1980s when Jane complained of never having the ideal weekend bag – so he designed her the perfect bag for her and named it in her honour. But the perfect bag doesn’t come easily, with Hermes producing only a limited edition each year and waiting lists stretching into years - for those who can obtain one at all.

Features: Veau taurillon clemence leather with rolled double top handles; gold plated hardware; padlock and hanging clochette; flap top with leather strap closure and rotating clasp; leather interior compartment with interior zipper pocket and slip pocket.

Origin: Made in France.

Measurements: 35 cm (length) x 25 cm (height at body) x 18 cm (width at base).

Condition: Great condition. The exterior leather is in excellent condition overall, with light wear to the corners (see photo). The plate and hardware have light wear (see photos) but overall present very well. The interior is clean and there are pen marks throughout the interior.

Comes with: Original Hermes dust bag; padlock with clochette.

Shipping & Returns

Australia: FREE Standard Post, Express Post $19.95. Orders by 12pm AEST weekdays ship same day; after 12pm ship next business day. Fully trackable with signature; no PO boxes or parcel lockers.

International: $100 via Express International Post (FedEx for USA) with signature. Buyers cover any local taxes or charges.

Change-of-mind returns for bags and wallets are accepted within 7 days if unused with tags attached. A $50 restocking fee applies per item, and return shipping/insurance is at the customer’s cost. Watches and jewellery are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
