First introduced in 1955 in the Coco Chanel era, the Chanel classic flap bag is one of the most iconic handbags ever made. The epitome of effortless chic, this handbag has proven itself as a truly timeless piece. Made from Chanel’s durable black caviar leather with the signature diamond quilting and CC turn-lock, this bag is as classic Chanel as it comes. An essential in any woman’s wardrobe!

Features: Black quilted caviar leather exterior; gold tone hardware; leather and gold chain interwoven strap which can be worn as a single long strap or a doubled-up shorter strap; rear exterior slip pocket; CC turn lock opens top flap to reveal internal zipper pocket inside top flap, as well as 2 x slip pockets; dome closure opens second flap into black leather lined main compartment with 3 x slip pockets.

Origin: Made in France.

Measurements: 25.5 cm (length) x 7 cm (width at base) x 16 cm (height) x 43 cm (shoulder strap drop).

Condition: Great condition. The exterior leather is in great condition with very light wear only, including a light crease along the base (photo 6). The hardware is in great condition, with hairline scratches visible to the CC turn-lock (photo 8) and a superficial crack in the dome closure (photo 10) which does not affect the functionality. The strap is in great condition with very light wear. The interior flap has a very light, smoothed indentation where the internal zip has rubbed (photo 13). The single stitch either side of the interior which joins the body of the bag through the flaps to the rear of the bag, has been repaired in the past. The leather lined interior is clean and in great condition with a couple of very light insignificant nail scuffs.

Australia: FREE Standard Post, Express Post $19.95. Orders by 12pm AEST weekdays ship same day; after 12pm ship next business day. Fully trackable with signature; no PO boxes or parcel lockers.

International: $100 via Express International Post (FedEx for USA) with signature. Buyers cover any local taxes or charges.

Change-of-mind returns for bags and wallets are accepted within 7 days if unused with tags attached. A $50 restocking fee applies per item, and return shipping/insurance is at the customer’s cost. Watches and jewellery are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
