First introduced in 1955 in the Coco Chanel era, the Chanel Classic Flap bag is one of the most iconic handbags ever made. The epitome of effortless chic, this handbag has proved itself as a truly timeless piece. Made from the softest black quilted lambskin with a chain and leather interwoven strap, this bag is as classic Chanel as it comes.

Features: Black quilted lambskin leather exterior; gold tone hardware; sliding leather and chain interwoven strap which can be worn as a single long strap or a doubled-up shorter strap; exterior rear slip pocket; signature CC turn-lock entry to top flap; rear slip pocket behind interior compartment; inner flap with domed closure into the main compartment and front slip pocket; burgundy leather lined interior with 3 x slip pockets and 1 x zip pocket.

Origin: Made in France.

Measurements: 25 cm (length) x 20 cm (height) x 7 cm (width) x 24 or 45 cm (shoulder strap drop).

Condition: Fair condition. The leather exterior shows some softening to the structure, with creasing, surface scratches, and heavy rubbing on the corners and edges, especially at the top edge of the rear slip pocket. The hardware has surface scratches throughout and areas of heavy gold tone loss to the chain and eyelets. The strap is in fair condition, with heavy rubbing to the leather component. The interior is also in fair condition, with several surface scratches, multiple pen marks, and traces of makeup throughout.

Shipping & Returns

Australia: FREE Standard Post, Express Post $19.95. Orders by 12pm AEST weekdays ship same day; after 12pm ship next business day. Fully trackable with signature; no PO boxes or parcel lockers.

International: $100 via Express International Post (FedEx for USA) with signature. Buyers cover any local taxes or charges.

Change-of-mind returns for bags and wallets are accepted within 7 days if unused with tags attached. A $50 restocking fee applies per item, and return shipping/insurance is at the customer’s cost. Watches and jewellery are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
