First introduced in 1955 in the Coco Chanel era, the Chanel classic flap bag is one of the most iconic handbags ever made. The epitome of effortless chic, this handbag has proved itself as a truly timeless piece. Made from the softest black quilted lambskin with a leather and goldtone interwoven chain strap, this vintage flap bag is as classic Chanel as it comes.

Features: Black quilted lambskin; leather and goldtone interwoven chain strap which can be worn as a single long strap or a doubled-up shorter strap; double flap into the main compartment with turn lock and interior magnetic clip; leather interior; internal zipper pocket; 3 smaller interior slip pockets.

Measurements: 23 cm (length) x 14 cm (height) x 6 cm (width at base).

Condition: Great vintage condition. The exterior leather is beautifully soft and has been very well maintained. The leather has naturally aged to create some light crinkles throughout and light vintage wear, with the bag presenting really well overall. The gold hardware lock and two-tone chain is in great condition. The interior flap has light wear and light scratches throughout, as can be seen from image 13. The burgundy interior is in excellent condition with light wear throughout.

Australia: FREE Standard Post, Express Post $19.95. Orders by 12pm AEST weekdays ship same day; after 12pm ship next business day. Fully trackable with signature; no PO boxes or parcel lockers.

International: $100 via Express International Post (FedEx for USA) with signature. Buyers cover any local taxes or charges.

Change-of-mind returns for bags and wallets are accepted within 7 days if unused with tags attached. A $50 restocking fee applies per item, and return shipping/insurance is at the customer’s cost. Watches and jewellery are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
